BUYER ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS

On behalf of our estimed customer, an International Company based in Locarno area, we are looking for a:
BUYER FOR ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
Main responsibilities:
- This position is accountable to liaison across business units and external suppliers, responsible for managing quotations, purchase orders and contracts and commercial relationship with an international supplier base;
- Understand sourcing market and identify supplier to fulfill business needs. Develop and implement commercial strategies and tools to manage costs and ensure material availability;
- Establish, maintain, and manage revisions to the long-term commercial contract agreement (and any variations in the agreement) and issuing Purchase Orders for PPAP process;
- Contribute expert knowledge to sourcing, logistics and resource management decisions, drive and manage supplier capacity and capability;
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent directly related experience (business admin, engineering or similar). Strong technical background would be a plus. 6 Sigma Greenbelt certification strongly preferred;
- A strong understanding of applicable business and contractual laws and strong business acumen;
- Ability to interpret, analyze and negotiate contractual total cost elements (response time, logistics, tax, duties, etc); Advanced negotiation and problem solving skills;
- Experienced in the use of MS Navision, SAP, BAAN and MS-Office (Word, Excel, Access), Lotus Notes and Internet;
- Fluent in English, Italian and German, other languages will be an advantage.
